Meet the Experts
It’s really important to us that your creative experience is led by experts. Each activity will be tailor made by those with experience in their field, whether it’s heritage, cycling or crafts. Meet some of the people running the show…
Beatriz Puppo Amo is based in Cardedeu and originally from Sevilla. Having recently returned from London, she has built a career as a photographer and darkroom printer specialising in fashion, editorial, and commercial work. Bea holds an MA in Fashion Journalism from the London College of Fashion (UAL), where she first began developing and hand-printing her own photography.
Her work in the darkroom allows her to explore tactile processes that satisfy her creative curiosity, and as an expert in analogue film with a passion for crafts, Bea will be leading our Cyanotype activities.
Eva Arrizabalaga, born in Barcelona in 1961, studied Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and now lives and works in Cardedeu. Eva's work often references local influences and culture with vivid colours that make you feel like you're at home in one of her paintings.
Eva will be the artist guiding you on our paintings and walking experience, offering different ways of working with watercolours and gauche paints. You will come away inspired and with a piece you are proud to hang up at home.
Joanna Steele (Founder of Made My Dia) From London originally and now living in Cardedeu, I have been living in and around Barcelona for almost 9 years. I studied a Bachelor of Fine Art at Central Saint Martins and have been working as an artist and events organiser for 15 years, delivering festival activities and corporate events.
I have also worked in tech companies in Barcelona and understand the need for team building and mindfulness away from the screen.
